IGOROT/CMOS VOICE

MODULE / 01 — Oscillation / modulation

CMOS VOICE.

A characterful voice architecture built around CMOS logic, controlled instability and analog signal shaping.

HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT / SYSTEM 01

See the circuit
as an instrument.

The voice begins with logic-driven oscillators. Frequency modulation, detune and PLL/ring-inspired treatments are being explored as a flexible sound-generation core.

DESIGN NOTES

Inside CMOS Voice.

01

Two oscillator paths

Oscillator paths are planned to support layered tones, detune and audio-rate experimentation.

02

Modulation and treatment

FM inputs, CD4046 PLL-based techniques and CMOS switching invite nontraditional timbres.

03

Analog conditioning

TL074 stages are planned for buffering, summing and level handling.

Design status: Circuit design. Controls, circuit details and capabilities shown here are development proposals, not measured or validated specifications.
