IGOROT/ABOUT

IGOROT / SYNTHESIZER LAB

SOUND IS
AN EXPERIMENT.

An independent hardware project for playful, repairable and unusual electronic sound instruments.

WHY WE BUILD

Make complex circuits feel immediate.

IGOROT is the project identity for a developing family of experimental synthesizer circuits. Its starting point is CMOS Organism Synth MKII, a desktop semi-modular instrument made from interconnected functional blocks.

The interest is as much in the process as the sound: how logic chips become oscillators, how counting becomes rhythm, and how switching and feedback become creative decisions.

This site is a living project notebook. It does not imply that the described hardware is currently manufactured or commercially available.

PLANNED MILESTONES

The road ahead.

01
Architecture

Define the instrument’s internal signal flow, control points, board interfaces and safe supply requirements.

02
Prototype verification

Build and test each circuit block, review PCB layouts and document repeatable measurements.

03
Documentation

Publish tested schematics, revision-aware parts lists and assembly notes when ready.

04
Instrument development

Refine the interface, enclosure, patching workflow and long-term expansion options.
